As an organization bridging the University of Tennessee and Oak Ridge National Laboratory research environments, the Shull Wollan Center promotes the use of neutron scattering in various fields and plays a crucial role in advancing education efforts in the domain of neutron sciences. We aim to develop a stimulating environment for discussion, innovation, and dissemination of information within the neutron scattering scientific community by providing multiple learning opportunities for a wide range of researchers, from undergraduate students through senior scientists.

The Shull Wollan Center Seminar Series features lectures from researchers in fields related to neutron scattering. These seminars are held regularly in the Shull Wollan Center seminar room A202, and all are welcome and encouraged to attend.
